demanding of instructors I have ever had. But the other thing about
ö-Sel is her supremely serene demeanor. She never raises her voice,
she is never aggressive and she is always, always funny. So even as
you are contorting yourself into some frightful pose, she talks to
you as though you are getting a massage. It is very strange and maybe
sneaky but her calmness convinces you that of course you can do a
teaser with a ball between your legs or 10 more push-ups or another
round of side bends. If she is smiling at you like some sort of angel,
then of course you are up for kneeling side legs. I try and fail to
